 Sailor

Sailing has been part of my life as far back as I can remember. Holidays on the family sailing boat followed by various sailing trips in my teens a bit of a gap whilst I was an University and then a shit load of racing when I moved to Melbourne, including a fair bit of offshore.

I've my a cruising yacht now for trips with the kids. Once they are a bit bigger, I hope to get back into racing a bit more again.

Patent Attorney

From shortly after University, where I studied Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, I've been a patent attorney. Firstly in the UK and then in Australia. My technical specialities span across software, physics and engineering and its great to deal with loads of amazing innovations in my job.
